I’ve probably been to Disney’s Magic Kingdom somewhere between one and two million times in my life. All you Florida natives know what what I mean when I say it’s almost impossible to answer the question “When was your first visit to Disney World?”… most of us probably can’t even remember! But there is something about joining a family from out of town on their very first visit to the most magical place on earth to make everything about Disney feel completely brand new. That’s what it was like for me when I joined Sandi (the awesome talent behind Four Wishes Photography) and her four boys (five if you count her husband) who were visiting from Virginia. Not only did I get to see Disney through the eyes of a family enjoying it for the first time, I got to experience it through the eyes of little boys. And let me tell you, it’s a completely different place! There was no mention of the names Elsa or Anna, no one was singing “Let it Go”, there was no visit to the Bippity Bobbidi Boutique and there were absolutely no pink souveniers. There was, however, plenty of rough-housing in line for the roller coasters, racing to see who could eat french fries the fastest, and major Tomorrowland Speedway enthusiasm. I became totally educated on life with boys!
Sandi, I loved meeting you and your crew! I hope you thoroughly enjoyed a day off from lugging your camera around and that looking back on these images brings back tons of wonderful memories of your time in Florida. It was such a treat getting to document your vacation!
