We woke up on Easter Sunday in the Tallahassee La Quinta – not the most luxurious (or even clean) hotel in the world. But they take dogs 🙂 So yeah, they’re pretty amazing in my book. Halfway home from our road trip to New Orleans, Isla was probably ready for a big long break from the car seat. But she did awesome! Of course, having Yo Gabba Gabba and the Fresh Beat loaded on the iPad plus a 10 lb bag of m&m’s from Costco might have helped. Hehe 🙂
We got back home just in time to change Isla into her Easter dress and take her out in the beautiful late afternoon light for some backlit Easter pictures.
I love how it looks like she’s “curtsy-ing” in the first image! She’s such a sweet and silly little girl.
P.S. I’m absolutely obsessed with backlighting right now! It can make the most ordinary location look so warm and dreamy! Which is helpful when you’re taking pictures in the middle of the street in front of your house which isn’t particularly interesting all by itself. After taking yet another “Breakout Session”, this time by the talented Jennifer Dell , I just had to get out and practice.
